It's quite a good game if others are playing, but many players have given up. In the end-game, I imagine only 100 players or so per realm would be active. Getting in early has it's benefits since it's easy to get free gold from events. Down the road, it may be more difficult for new players to win the events. Lots of bugs, such as chat filtering.

Simple words like 'our' and 'speed' are censored. Even 'gameloft' is censored. The VIP program is buggy as well; not giving you the perks that it claims to distribute e.g. Gold, energy refills, etc. There's a discrepancy between the phone version and computer version where trading on your phone gives you 1/10 of what you can do on the computer.

Finally, there are a few hackers already. Gameloft isn't known for addressing hackers since it drives other people to spend real money to catch up. That's only a observation, and it might not be completely true, but perception is reality.

Game graphics, awards and ease to upgrade city are great, 5 stars. The players who play the game, on the other hand are a mix of alpha bullies and folks who just want to have fun playing a game. Revenge and bully blitz attacks happen constantly.

Developer should include a cool down period for alliance jumpers and limit how many times a city can be attacked in a row. I am a full grown adult and am amazed at how much bullying goes on in this game and everyone either accepts it or instigates it, so -4 stars.

This game is not for impressionable kids or nice good-hearted people. Overall score 1 star. The game itself is great fun.

I've been building up my castle, fighting enemies, banishing enemies, competing with my fellow kings and queens, earning points and receiving prizes to help me advance in the game. I love playing this game because of these aspects. The graphics are wonderful too. I'm disappointed with the following points.

Better instructions/links inside the game would be EXTREMELY helpful! Microsoft & Gameloft Customer Support are a joke! They don't answer people's questions & don't respond if a customer has a problem. The most frustrating problems are: the game's chat system - it freezes & doesn't allow players to speak with others. We have to log out of the game & log back in to restart chat.

Players from around the world play, but the translating system's terrible. We're booted out of the game a lot due to Gameloft's faulty Internet connection. The game's a money pit - in order to advance, you must have gold to get resources & build your castle & troops. The game still crashes more than it should, however it's getting better and customer care has been outstanding. One complaint I keep hearing is, 'Where are the instructions?' This is a complex game and learning it is a months long process.

That part can be tedious and frustrating. Then one day you look back and think, 'Ah, if only I knew that at the beginning!' Big hint to Gameloft - Publish the basic instructions and rules! It will make the game more fun.

Overall I am rating this game a strong 8.5 out of 10, with 10 the best. Found a few good people out there from all over the world. This game is fun and addictive when the constant disconnects are not happening. June 10 till now June 12 this game has had a serious disconnect and subsequent reconnect issue. A lot of the people I know who play are all but ready to quit and find a more stable game. I do like the combat system and the building system. Bad part is with the dc and rc issues you can lose troops or have your city ransacked by an attacker and have no way to protect or defend.

While writing this the game has dc 7 times. Devs need to fix this issue post haste or many will leave the game.as of the 18th the above issues have only gotten worse and are causing inability to counter attack with shields or use antiscout. If this issue isn't fixed my rating will drop to -3 star soon. Customer Care is actually Customer Ignore, if you have a problem figure it out yourself because you will not get any help. Game is fast moving at lower levels and extremely challenging at the upper ones as all levels progressively get slower to the point of almost catatonic. Example, unless you have the speedups to accelerate research for tier 3 troops, can take 10-15 days.

Oh, and those speed ups can cost you large cash. Do I like the game, yes, still playing it. Can be addictive, especially if you have a good, active alliance of other players.

Unfortunately, I have to update my review to something unpleasant. This game, like every other game of it's genre, becomes a pay-to-win game once you get to a certain level. I was hoping it wouldn't do that, cause I liked it, but I guess that's the politics of games now: they are money-suckers. The days of just buying a game and enjoying it are over because even the ones you have to buy outright have in-game market systems. It really is like a little capitalist system-since it's pay to win, those who soak money into the game get ahead. This literally creates an economic gap in the game in which those who don't soak a ton of money into it struggle to survive.

The game makers only care about the high-paying players, so the non or low-paying players sort of become fillers for those who pay a lot, we are targets they can attack freely, making their game experience rather pleasant. For the rest of us, it just sucks. That's the perfect example of capitalism. Before you play a Gameloft game, understand how they treat Windows players. Definitely do not make in-game purchases from Gameloft. Mid-Late 2015, Gameloft released Order & Chaos 2 for Windows, iOS, and Android.

As a new game, there were many bugs. In January of 2016, they released Update 2, with new content and more bugs.

It took them until March to fix some of the issues, but only for iOS/Android players. They completely ignored the Windows player community. They advertised fixes coming and new content and only mentioned 'coming soon for iOS and Android', they never made any official statements about dropping the Windows platform from the game. They would not respond to questions about the Windows platform. This lasted until the end of April 2016 where they officially announced they were dropping the Windows platform. All the people who made in-game purchases were left with the bugs, no new content, and no reason to have ever spent money in the game.
